Nothing stops time. It simply moves on. As time ticks, some people stay, others take a different journey, or quietly fade away. Some you wish had stayed; others, you’re not sure why they drifted. It’s rare that I’m quietly glad they’re gone. Control is an illusion, and life sorts itself in ways we don’t always imagine.
For those who remain, we celebrate them. We honour the shared moments. We stay present, enjoy the moment, and keep looking forward. This Christmas, Melissa and I hold close every family member, old friend, and new connection who is part of our journey. We appreciate the laughter, the conversations, and all the threads that still bind. Your presence is the gift, and it is warmly cherished.
