First day back in Western Australia after a wonderful trip to Goa, India.
A simple reset to my Australian way of life: a 2km morning walk around Applecross that ended up being a 3km walk.
A nice walk through quiet, safe streets of our apartment in Applecross with filtered light through the trees, the calm river, and the Perth city skyline in the distance. After the excess of great food, good alcohol, the celebrations and travel to Doha and Goa, India, this felt grounding and familiar.
It was a great trip — and just as good to be back in Western Australia. We’re fortunate to have our place in Applecross, and the few acres in TWE Pemberton that offer a completely different kind of calm. Looking forward to getting back there, settling into routine, and picking up the rhythm again.
