In November 2025, Melissa and I went on a cruise. It was our first cruise and it was nice and what an introduction. We flew Singapore Airlines into Changi Airport and eased into holiday mode with a few days at the stunning Raffles Sentosa Island. From there, we boarded the Silver Moon, part of the Silversea fleet and now officially one of our favourite ways to travel.
The journey took us from Singapore to Bali, Indonesia, and then onward across the Indian Ocean back to Australia. Along the way: exceptional service, beautiful suites, food that made you pause mid-bite, and wine that seemed to pour itself. Everything on the Silver Moon felt calm, elegant, and effortless — exactly what a good escape should be.
We loved it so much that we’ve already booked our next Silversea adventure for 2027.
