The Cars of Amsterdam
Amsterdam is famous for many things, Van Gogh, Rembrandt, its canals, bicycles and beautiful old buildings. But as I wandered the streets, something else caught my eye…the cars.
Not the SUVs and trucks we’re used to seeing in Australia, but small, beautiful, quirky and sometimes wonderfully unusual cars designed for life in a crowded European city.
From tiny Smart cars and classic Fiats to vehicles that look like they could almost fit on the footpath, here are some of the cars that caught my attention while exploring Amsterdam.
